- How To Cook
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons Truvia® calorie-free sweetener
- 2 tablespoons grainy mustard
- 1 Fresh Bone-In Turkey Breast (about 4 lbs)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh thyme
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon each, salt and pepper
In saucepan, combine apple cider, vinegar, Truvia sweetener, and mustard; bring to boil over medium-high heat. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until reduced by half.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Pat turkey breast dry with paper towel. Stir together butter, thyme, garlic, salt and pepper; rub all over turkey, including under the skin.
Place turkey on rack in roasting pan; roast for 40 minutes. Reduce heat to 400 degrees Fahrenheit; roast, basting with apple cider glaze for about 30 minutes or until thermometer inserted into thickest part of the breast reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit. If turkey browns too quickly, cover loosely with foil. Slice turkey and serve.
TIPS: Delicious with cranberry sauce! Substitute rosemary or marjoram for thyme, if desired.
