Ingredients:

1 package Shady Brook Farms® Original Smoked Rope Turkey Sausage
2 14oz cans Sauerkraut
1 small Onion, sliced
1 pound Red Potatoes, cut into 1 inch dice
Salt and Pepper to taste

How to prepare this recipe:

  1. Place the cut potatoes into a pot of cold water and add 2T of salt. Bring the water to a simmer and cook potatoes until they are tender. Remove the potatoes from the pot and set aside.
  2. While the potatoes are cooking, heat up a small amount of oil over medium heat in another pot and add the sliced onions.
  3. Cook the onions until they are golden brown in color (8 to 10 minutes).
  4. Add the sauerkraut and warm through. Add the potatoes and season to taste with Salt and Pepper.
  5. Grill the sausage over medium heat until hot (140° internal temperature).
  6. Slice the sausage and serve over the sauerkraut mixture.
