Ingredients:

2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
1 package (20 ounces) Shady Brook Farms® Traditional Turkey Bratwurst
1 medium onion, sliced
2 Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced
1 head red cabbage (about 2 pounds), cored and cut into 1/2-inch strips
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 bay leaf

How to prepare this recipe:

  1. In deep skillet or casserole, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium heat.
  2. Add bratwurst and brown on all sides; remove.
  3. Heat remaining oil in same skillet; add onion and cook about 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Add apples and cabbage; cook about 5 minutes or until cabbage is wilted. Add bratwurst and remaining ingredients; cover and simmer about 20 minutes or until bratwurst is cooked through.
